Office of Seemann Rush Architects
We are architects working in the Inner West of Sydney. Most of our projects are alterations and additions to existing homes in Marrickville, Newtown, Camperdown, Enmore, Stanmore, Haberfield, Leichhardt, Annandale, Glebe, Lewisham, Petersham, Dulwich Hill, Hurlstone Park and Burwood. We also do projects throughout Sydney and have projects in Cremorne, Middle Cove, Roseville, Neutral Bay, Killara and Winston Hills. We enjoy designing functional beautiful homes that are spatially dynamic, sunny, ecological, energy efficient and connect to the outside. We specialise in optimising the volume available in small narrow urban blocks. We achieve council approval for projects that most design offices have difficulty achieving. We do this because we throughly investigate the potential of a site considering the impacts on neighbouring properties to achieve a harmonious design. We respect the heritage qualities of the inner city and neighbouring amenity in regards to visual privacy and over shadowing. Designing is tight urban environments is a complex task and requires an adaptable approach to acquire high quality living.
